Her Daughter Begins To Sing, But When Mom Joins In, Even Simon Can’t Stop Smiling

This time of year, I find myself glued to the television when “America’s Got Talent” comes on in the evenings. It’s one of the few shows I watch live rather than on the DVR, and I can’t get enough of the wide variety of acts that include musicians, magicians, acrobats, dancers, and so much more. Each year, the talent gets even better and can’t wait to watch the auditions and performances, both good and bad.

There is another version of the show in England, called “Britain’s Got Talent,” and it features the same kinds of variety acts as the American version. On this version, a mother and daughter duo appeared, stunning the audience and judges with their performance, but also their story.

Ana, the mom, was in an abusive relationship with her now ex-husband, for years. When things were taking a turn for the worst, Ana knew that she had to do something to save herself, and her son and daughter, from more trauma and misery. Together, the mother, daughter, and son fled the abusive relationship and started over with absolutely nothing.

The brave mother and her daughter, Fia, came on “Britain’s Got Talent” to sing a powerful version of Barbra Streisand and Celine Dion’s duet “Tell Him,” and their stunningly beautiful performance earns them a standing ovation. Even the usually critical and serious Simon Cowell couldn’t help but smile as their voices filled the theater.

But it wasn’t just the judges, the audience is always first to react, and obviously, the entire hall was impressed and moved by their performance. There were cheer and applause like never before. It’s so incredibly special that the two have this special gift and can share it with the world. Their positivity is sure to go a long way as they continue on their healing journey and “Britain’s Got Talent” will surely help them. They have found a new family in the judges and their viewers.

In an exclusive interview, Ana told the Mirror UK that they are eager to start over, “It was very hard, we’re very happy now, and we’re moving on.” We’re sure that their strength will take them far.We wish Ana and Fia the best of luck in the competition and their lives. They certainly deserve it!
