Tom Brady Refuses to Play For a Team with “Kneelers” Next Season

A story online claims that Tom Brady, who is a free agent this offseason, says he won’t play for any team that allows “kneelers.” But is the story true?

After a comprehensive investigation, we’ve concluded that yes, the story is true.

While Brady refuses to confirm or deny the allegations that he’s made the no-kneeler request a rule, there is plenty of evidence to support the notion. First is the image on the piece itself. There are clearly two Tampa Bay players kneeling, and the image of Brady shows how much it upset hi. Is that why he won’t sign with the Bucs again?

No, says sports specialist Joe Barron. “He won’t play in Tampa because they’re not gonna pay him another $30 million. He’ll skip The Jets and Miami over the kneeler thing.”

Brady has said in the past that his issue with protesting at work isn’t political. “I’m a professional. I just want to play football.” That seems to be Number 12’s standard answer. His ex-wife stated in their divorce papers that she almost backed out when he answered the minister that way instead of “I do.” The issue, according to those closest to the family, was that Gisele was not and never would be a football.

So while it may be true that he doesn’t want to play with people who protest, it has nothing to do with a cult and everything to do with the game.
