Jace Evans has been hospitalized.
While details of why he was admitted into the hospital are unclear, it’s reported that the hospitalization comes after Jace ran away again.

This latest incident comes after Jace was removed from his mother’s home under suspicion of child abuse. He was placed in his grandmother Barbra’s care.

According to TMZ, Jace, 14, ran away on Saturday, November 18. He wasn’t located until 11:45 p.m. on Sunday, November 19.

Now, Child Protective Services has made the decision to place Jace into foster care due to his history of running away.

TMZ reports that Jace ran away because Barbra had taken his phone away as punishment for vaping at school. Barbra was instructed by Jenelle and CPS to not give him a phone in the first place but the grandmother believed he could handle it.

Mamas Uncut reported earlier this month that Jace was no longer living with his mom and her husband David Eason.

The change in his living arrangement came after reports revealed David is facing charges of misdemeanor child abuse. The reports come after an investigation was ongoing into the family.

The charge comes after Evans’ 14-year-old son Jace ran away from home and was reported missing several times. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Jace reportedly ran away from home after David allegedly caused marks on “the right arm and left and right side of the neck.”

Now, Jace is out of Jenelle and David’s home and back living with his grandmother Barbra, while he is under CPS custody. Barbra had custody of Jace since he was born until about two years ago when Jenelle assumed custody of her son for the first time since his birth.

TMZ reports that neither Jace nor Barbra are on speaking terms with Jenelle. A source reportedly told TMZ that Jace is happy to be back with his grandmother.

Jenelle spoke out shortly after learning her husband was facing child abuse charges. And she is sticking by her husband’s side despite the charges.

On Instagram, Jenelle wrote, “You would think police wouldn’t make a one-sided police investigation. They didn’t conduct interviews, didn’t ask any information from the parents.”

“This seems like a very bias [sic] situation like every time before,” Jenelle continued. “I trusted that detective with all my heart.. forgot you can’t trust cops… silly me.”

Jenelle went on to tell her fans that she doesn’t “trust anyone around me. Going MIA for a while,” and signed her statement with the peace sign emoji.

“Columbus County Sheriff’s Department, I believe, is the one doing the smearing campaign against my husband and needs to be held responsible,” Jenelle later added. “Literally, they told details to the media about a minor and gave no f****.”

“[I] have the emails to prove it. An open investigation is supposed to be kept private under all circumstances especially when it involves kids. Let’s go to court. I’ve waiting on our day. I feel so violated by the system. Wait until the day you hear the truth. You will be begging me not to sue you.”

Jenelle then shared pieces of her alleged conversations with the detective on the case. Jenelle claims the detective promised to be fair and non-biased.

“I would never think that of you two. You guys are both great parents. Don’t believe the media. I’m telling you myself everything is okay on my end,” Jenelle says the detective told her before she asked him why his office was leaking information to the press.

“It’s not our office, I promise it’s not coming from us. But your mom on the other hand. All she kept talking about was MTV this and MTV that,” she claimed he responded.

“So now you understand my frustration. Now you understand where I get my information. I was being lied to this entire time. Proper protocol was not followed,” Janelle added.

“I have no idea what human being I can trust anymore. Not even my own blood. I’m being fed all these different stories from different people. People trying to get on my good side, to then again betray me over and over. The media won’t give me time to breathe. I know the truth and so does God.”
