Kari Lake recently earned a notable endorsement from former Republican primary candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, who pledged his support for the former Arizona gubernatorial candidate’s senate campaign. Ramaswamy posted his endorsement on X, praising Lake for her commitment to the “America-first” movement and bravery in taking on important issues.
“Proud to announce my endorsement of @KariLake for Senate. She’s an outsider. She’s America-First. She’s all-in for sealing the border. She knows how to *eviscerate* the media. She’s unafraid. And she’s going to be a dominant U.S. Senator,” Ramaswamy wrote in his caption.
Like his own campaign, Ramaswamy noted that Lake prioritizes the pursuit of truth, unlike other politicians within the Republican party. Emphasizing one of the main drivers of his endorsement, Vivek explains how she is unafraid to speak out about important issues in American politics.
“The slogan of my campaign was truth. Well, that means I’m going to support people who are willing to speak hard truths that other Republicans aren’t. Kari Lake is one of those fearless Republicans. And that’s I’m going to endorse her for her candidacy for US Senate. And I do expect her to be the next US senator from the state of Arizona,” the former GOP primary candidate said.
Ramaswamy pointed out how Lake particularly calls for securing the southern border amid record-breaking illegal immigration pouring into the United States. One of the primary pain points with the Biden administration is the seeming inability to get a grip on the ensuing border crisis.
“She’s somebody who stands up for the border. It’s a basic issue that I think is a nonpartisan issue right now, this isn’t about Republicans versus Democrats. And the people who tried to make it into that are the ones who have a vested interest in continuing this crisis. And I think she’s going to be one of the toughest senators we have on making sure that we seal that southern border without apologizing and without compromising on our principles,” Ramaswamy continued.
The conservative businessman then turned to Lake’s experience within the media. In an industry where any conservatives feel there is unquestionable bias against Republicans, Ramaswamy claims she always fought against the pro-Democrat establishment.
“The other thing I love about Kari is that, you know, other things I tried to do in my campaign was to stick it to the media. Some of the many Republicans dance around here he grew up from within that same establishment, she was a news woman, but she wasn’t part of it. She was always somebody who challenged that status quo,” he said. “It’s gonna be the likes of leaders like Carrie Lake and so she has my full throated support.”
“I’m gonna do everything in my power to make sure she’s successfully elected. And this is part of a broader America First movement that’s going to live not just for the next four years, and it’s going to succeed in the next four years, but for the next 250 years, and then some after that, that’s what this is about and carry Good luck. We’re gonna make sure you’re successful,” Ramaswamy concluded.
