Audrina Patridge, star of ‘The Hills,’ is mourning the death of her 15-year-old niece; the cause of death has not been revealed

Audrina Patridge, who rose to prominence in The Hills for six seasons between 2006 and 2010, recently revealed that her 15-year-old niece, Sadie Loza, passed away.

The adolescent girl was born in 2008 to Casey Loza, Audrina’s sister, and Aaron Hershman, whom Casey previously dated.

Audrina paid tribute to her late niece on Instagram. “I know it’s not goodbye forever, but it is the hardest to say goodbye for now. We will miss you and treasure every moment we had with you. Rest in peace!! We will love you forever and ever!” she wrote, adding that it “hurts even to write this.”

Brody Jenner, Rachel Bilson, Paris Hilton, Ashley Greene Khoury, Kaitlyn Bristowe, Selma Blair, Nicky Hilton, Christa Allen, Kandee Johnson, Becca Tilley, and many others expressed their love, prayers, and condolences for Audrina and her family in the comments section.

Casey Loza also used Instagram to share the heartbreaking news of her daughter’s death; like Audrina Patridge, she expressed how difficult it was to write the caption, calling it the “hardest thing I have ever had to do.” She had difficulty finding the right words to say, which is understandable.

“Sadie liked to remind me that the first law of thermodynamics, also known as the Law of Conservation of Energy,” Casey wrote in the caption.

“Transformation is preferable to death. Her story will save many lives. Her memory will live on forever. You brilliant Starseed, rest in peace.”

Kyle Loza, Sadie’s stepfather, also posted a tribute. “I’ll keep your memory with me until I see you again. I can’t get you out of my mind. I’ll never stop loving you, and I’d do anything to laugh with you again. You were my first Love,” he wrote in the caption, signing it ‘Dad.’

Kyle married Casey in 2009, the year after Sadie was born. Kyle is a freestyle motocross rider and musician.

One year later, the couple welcomed their first child, a soon-to-be 13-year-old son named Draven, born in April 2010. They also have a 4-year-old son named Vallon, whom they welcomed in October 2018.

Did you know Audrina Patridge has her daughter? Kirra Max, her six-year-old daughter, was born on June 24, 2016, just a few months before she married motorcycle and BMX rider Cory Bohan. They began dating in 2008 and dated for eight years before marrying.

Unfortunately, the marriage was short-lived. Patridge filed for divorce and a restraining order against Bohan about a year after marriage, citing abuse and violence. Patridge’s divorce was finalized in December 2018, giving her peace of mind about her and her daughter’s safety.

Patridge hasn’t worked on many significant projects since her time on The Hills. She competed on Dancing With the Stars Season 11 and made it to the sixth week before being eliminated; she finished in seventh place with her dance partner, Tony Dovolani.

Our hearts go out to Audrina Patridge and her family in their grief. Sadie died just a week after celebrating her 15th birthday. The cause of death has not been revealed, but it is a tragedy in any case. It’s another reason to keep those you care about as close as possible.
