Her name was on everyone’s lips in the 1980s…

Linda Gray, the iconic Dallas legend, was recently spotted in Valencia, California, running errands near her home. The 81-year-old actress made a low-profile public appearance, and it was the first time she had been seen in such a setting in three years.

Linda Gray, best known for her role as Sue Ellen Ewing in the vintage TV series Dallas, was seen at Costco where she purchased fruit and a cozy blanket. She was dressed casually in black sweatpants and a tan hoodie, pushing a cart and loading her purchases into her car. Additionally, she collected mail from a post office box.

Linda Gray has had a long and illustrious career in the entertainment industry. After her iconic role in Dallas from 1978 to 1991, she appeared in successful movies and returned to the role in two Dallas reunions. She is also a skilled theater actress, having played Mrs. Robinson in a 2001 production of The Graduate.

In addition to her work on Dallas, Linda has collaborated with Sylvester Stallone in Models Inc. from 1994 to 1995 and Oscar in 1991. She made return appearances in the Dallas spinoffs in 1996 and 1998, and from 2012 to 2014, she appeared in the Dallas remake.

However, Linda Gray faced a heartbreaking loss last year when she shared the news of her 56-year-old son Jeff Thrasher’s passing. Jeff had been battling leukemia for some time. Linda was married to Ed Thrasher from 1962 to 1983, and he is Jeff’s father. Linda also has a 55-year-old daughter, actress Kelly Sloane, who is married to Lance Sloane and has two children with him.

Jeff Thrasher had a successful career as a TV director and producer, working on shows like Junior Chef Showdown, Canada’s Smartest Person, and The Amazing Race Canada, among others. He had also directed shows like Vegas Rat Rods and Furze World Wonders.

Linda Gray received an outpouring of support from her fans and colleagues in the entertainment industry after the loss of her son, a testament to the impact she has had throughout her career
