New Jersey residents are on edge as mysterious drones continue to invade the night skies, leaving everyone baffled. These high-tech, commercial-grade drones have been spotted in clusters across the state, prompting widespread speculation, public concern, and a full-scale investigation by local and federal authorities.
The sightings began mid-November and have since spread beyond New Jersey to parts of New York, Pennsylvania, and even Maryland. Witnesses describe these drones as large—some reportedly as big as SUVs—and eerily quiet as they hover over sensitive sites such as power plants, reservoirs, and even military facilities like the Picatinny Arsenal. Coordinated movements and prolonged hovering have only fueled theories about their purpose and origins.
Despite the FBI’s involvement and cooperation from agencies like the Department of Homeland Security, no one has come forward to claim responsibility for the drones. Investigators have ruled out any immediate threat from foreign adversaries, but this has done little to calm the nerves of concerned citizens.
The drones’ proximity to critical infrastructure raises significant concerns. Energy experts worry that these devices could pose a threat to national security if their operators have malicious intentions.
