Barron Trump shows his true colours as he comes face to face with Joe Biden

Barron Trump was spotted shaking hands with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris shortly after his father, Donald Trump, was sworn in as the 47th President of the United States. The brief interaction, which came moments after the oath of office, drew praise for Barron’s polite demeanor.

The inauguration took place on January 20 at the Capitol Building, where the 78-year-old Trump took the oath administered by Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts. With his right hand raised, President Trump was sworn in while his wife, Melania, held two significant Bibles: one given to him by his mother and the other, the famed Lincoln Bible historically used by Abraham Lincoln in 1861.

Before the ceremony, members of the Trump family, including sons Eric and Donald Trump Jr. and daughter Ivanka Trump, filed into the Capitol Rotunda to await the proceedings. It was the youngest, Barron, who caught the eye of onlookers. He was seen politely offering a handshake to then-outgoing President Joe Biden and former Vice President Kamala Harris after his father was sworn in.

Lip reader Jeremy Freeman noted that the 18-year-old greeted Mr. Biden with a cordial “G’day to you, sir,” then turned to Kamala Harris and said, “Ma’am, good day.” A video of Barron’s respectful gesture caused a stir on X (formerly Twitter), as reported by the Irish Star, with many applauding his “class.”
