Where Melania Trump has disappeared to after people notice she’s been missing from major public events with Donald

Ever since Donald Trump was inaugurated as the 47th US president last month, he’s been holding a number of press conferences, signing off executive orders and even attending the Super Bowl.

But the same can’t be said for his wife, Melania Trump, who has been noticeably absent since the inauguration celebrations took place a few weeks ago.

For example, Melania has been missing from several White House events, including when Trump met with a number of world leaders such as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba and King Abdullah of Jordan.

She was also allegedly absent from a dinner Trump hosted in Mar-a-Lago for the Republican senators and their spouses.

Meanwhile, over on the @flotus Instagram account and the one and only post is Melania’s official first lady portrait which was shared last month.

The photo in question, snapped the day after Trump was sworn in, was taken by photographer Régine Mahaux, who has been working with the Trump family for over 20 years.

Fans have been desperate to know where Melania is, with one person writing on Twitter: “Does anyone know where Melania is now? She was right by his side & now she’s gone. I miss her being here!”

While another said: “Where is Melania? It’s been quite some time since she’s been in public.”

Meanwhile, a third commented: “Does anybody know where Melania is?”

While it’s not clear for sure what Melania has been up to, it’s thought she’s been spending time in New York, where son Barron Trump is attending New York University’s Stern School of Business.

The first lady has previously spoken about how present she’ll be in Trump’s second term.

“I already packed, I already selected the furniture that needs to go in,” she told Fox News.

“I will be in the White House and when I need to be in New York, I’ll be in New York and when I need to be in Palm Beach, I’ll be in Palm Beach.

“My first priority is to be a mom, to be a first lady, to be a wife, and once we are in on January 20th, you serve the country.”

Melania may also be busy with her own projects, too.

Earlier this year, it was reported that she’d bagged a documentary deal with Amazon which will tell her life story – from her childhood in Slovenia, her modelling career, and her marriage to Trump.

Having being filmed in 2024 and due to be released in the second half of 2025, Melania will be an executive producer alongside Fernando Sulichin of New Element Media and Brett Ratner of RatPac Entertainment, who will be the director.

“Prime Video will be sharing more details on the project as filming progresses and release plans are finalised,” an Amazon spokesperson said in a statement.

“We are excited to share this truly unique story with our millions of customers around the world.”
