By the time I reached my eighth month of pregnancy, my life had narrowed to a series of careful calculations. Standing up required strategy. Sitting down took intention. Even turning over in bed felt like maneuvering a ship in tight waters. My body no longer belonged entirely to me—it stretched, ached, and shifted daily—yet it carried something extraordinary.
